<본기도>
계절의 변화를 섭리하시는 하느님, 해와 비와 바람을 다스리시어 저희에게 수확의 기쁨을 주시니, 저희가 언제나 하느님께 오롯한 감사를 드리고, 조상을 공경하며 가족과 이웃과 화목하여, 이 세상에서 하느님 나라를 이루게 하소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.
제1독서 < 타작마당은 곡식으로 가득하리라. >
▥ 요엘 예언서의 말씀입니다.( 2,22-24.26 )
22 들짐승들아, 두려워하지 마라. 광야의 풀밭이 푸르고, 나무가 열매를 맺으며, 무화과나무와 포도나무도 풍성한 결실을 내리라. 23 시온의 자손들아, 주 너희 하느님 안에서, 즐거워하고 기뻐하여라. 주님이 너희에게, 정의에 따라 가을비를 내려 주었다. 주님은 너희에게 비를 쏟아 준다. 이전처럼 가을비와 봄비를 쏟아준다. 24 타작마당은 곡식으로 가득하고, 확마다 햇포도주와 햇기름이 넘쳐흐르리라.
26 너희는 한껏 배불리 먹고, 너희에게 놀라운 일을 한, 주 너희 하느님의 이름을 찬양하리라.

22 Fear not, beasts of the field! for the pastures of the plain are green; The tree bears its fruit, the fig tree and the vine give their yield. 23 And do you, O children of Zion, exult and rejoice in the LORD, your God! He has given you the teacher of justice: he has made the rain come down for you, the early and the late rain as before. 24 The threshing floors shall be full of grain and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil. 26 You shall eat and be filled, and shall praise the name of the LORD, your God, Because he has dealt wondrously with you; my people shall nevermore be put to shame.

제2독서 < 그들이 한 일이 그들을 따라가리라. >
▥ 요한 묵시록의 말씀입니다.( 14,13-16 )
나 요한은 13 "'이제부터 주님 안에서 죽는 이들은 행복하다.'고 기록하여라."하고 하늘에서 울려오는 목소리를 들었습니다. 그러자 성령께서 말씀하셨습니다. "그렇다, 그들은 고생 끝에 이제 안식을 누릴 것이다. 그들이 한 일이 그들을 따라가기 때문이다."14 내가 또 보니 흰 구름이 있고 그 구름 위에는 사람의 아들 같은 분이 앉아 계셨는데, 머리에는 금관을 쓰고 손에는 날카로운 낫을 들고 계셨습니다.15 또 다른 천사가 성전에서 나와, 구름 위에 앉아 계신 분께 큰소리로 외쳤습니다. "낫을 대어 수확을 시작하십시오. 땅의 곡식이 무르익어 수확할 때가 왔습니다."16 그러자 구름 위에 앉아 계신 분이 땅 위로 낫을 휘두르시어 땅의 곡식을 수확하셨습니다.

13 I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," said the Spirit, "let them find rest from their labors, for their works accompany them." 14 Then I looked and there was a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud one who looked like a son of man, with a gold crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 Another angel came out of the temple, crying out in a loud voice to the one sitting on the cloud, "Use your sickle and reap the harvest, for the time to reap has come, because the earth's harvest is fully ripe." 16 So the one who was sitting on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.
주님의 말씀입니다.
◎ 하느님, 감사합니다.
복음 < 사람의 생명은 재산에 달려 있지 않다. >
♣ 루카가 전한 거룩한 복음입니다.( 12,15-21 )
그때에 예수님께서 15 사람들에게 이르셨다. "너희는 주의하여라. 모든 탐욕을 경계하여라. 아무리 부유하더라도 사람의 생명은 그의 재산에 달려 있지 않다."
16 예수님께서 그들에게 비유를 들어 말씀하셨다. "어떤 부유한 사람이 땅에서 많은 소출을 거두었다. 17 그래서 그는 속으로 '내가 수확한 것을 모아 둘 데가 없으니 어떻게 하나?'하고 생각하였다.
18 그러다가 말하였다. '이렇게 해야지. 곳간들을 헐어 내고 더 큰 것들을 지어, 거기에다 내 모든 곡식과 재물을 모아 두어야 겠다. 19 그리고 나 자신에게 말해야지. `자, 네가 여러 해 동안 쓸 많은 재산을 쌓아 두었으니, 쉬면서 먹고 마시며 즐겨라.`'
20 그러나 하느님께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. '어리석은 자야, 오늘 밤에 네 목숨을 되찾아 갈 것이다. 그러면 네가 마련해 둔 것은 누구 차지가 되겠느냐?' 21 자신을 위해서는 재화를 모으면서 하느님 앞에서는 부유하지 못한 사람이 바로 이러하다."

15 Then he said to the crowd, "Take care to guard against all greed, for though one may be rich, one's life does not consist of possessions." 16 Then he told them a parable. "There was a rich man whose land produced a bountiful harvest. 17 He asked himself, 'What shall I do, for I do not have space to store my harvest?' 18 And he said, 'This is what I shall do I shall tear down my barns and build larger ones. There I shall store all my grain and other goods 19 and I shall say to myself, "Now as for you, you have so many good things stored up for many years, rest, eat, drink, be merry!" 20 But God said to him, 'You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you; and the things you have prepared, to whom will they belong?' 21 Thus will it be for the one who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich in what matters to God."
