주님, 주님의 넘치는 은총으로 언제나 저희와 함께하시어, 저희가 끊임없이 좋은 일을 하도록 이끌어 주소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

제1독서 < 아브라함이 하느님을 믿으니 하느님께서 그 믿음을 의로움으로 인정해 주셨다. >

▥  사도 바오로의 로마서 말씀입니다.( 4,1-8 )

형제 여러분, 1 혈육으로 우리 선조인 아브라함이 찾아 얻은 것을 두고 우리가 무엇이라고 말해야 합니까? 2 아브라함이 행위로 의롭게 되었더라면 자랑할 만도 합니다. 그러나 하느님 앞에서는 그렇지 않습니다.

3 성경은 무엇이라고 말합니까? "아브라함이 하느님을 믿으니, 하느님께서 믿음을 의로움으로 인정해 주셨다." 하였습니다.

4 일을 하는 사람에게는 품삯이 선물이 아니라 당연한 보수로 여겨집니다. 5 그러나 일을 하지 않더라도 불경한 자를 의롭게 하시는 분을 믿는 사람은, 그 믿음을 의로움으로 인정받습니다.

6 그래서 다윗도 하느님께서 행위와는 상관없이 의로움을 인정해 주시는 사람의 행복을 이렇게 노래합니다.

7 "행복하여라, 불법을 용서받고, 죄가 덮어진 사람들! 8 행복하여라, 주님께서 죄를 헤아리지 않으시는 사람!"

 

<NAB> Romans (4,1-8)
1 What then can we say that Abraham found, our ancestor according to the flesh? 2 Indeed, if Abraham was justified on the basis of his works, he has reason to boast; but this was not so in the sight of God. 3 For what does the scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." 4 A worker's wage is credited not as a gift, but as something due. 5 But when one does not work, yet believes in the one who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness. 6 So also David declares the blessedness of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: 7 "Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not record." 9 Does this blessedness apply only to the circumcised, or to the uncircumcised as well? Now we assert that "faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness."

복음 < 하느님께서는 너희의 머리카락까지 다 세어 두셨다. >

♣  루카가 전한 거룩한 복음입니다.( 12,1-7 )

그때에 1 수많은 군중이 모여들어 서로 밟힐 지경이 되었다. 예수님께서는 먼저 제자들에게 말씀하기 시작하셨다.

"바리사이들의 누룩 곧 위선을 조심하여라. 2 숨겨진 것은 드러나기 마련이고 감추어진 것은 알려지기 마련이다.

3 그러므로 너희가 어두운 데에서 한 말을 사람들이 모두 밝은 데에서 들을 것이다. 너희가 골방에서 귀에 대고 속삭인 말은 지붕 위에서 선포될 것이다.

4 나의 벗인 너희에게 말한다. 육신은 죽여도 그 이상 아무것도 못하는 자들을 두려워하지 마라.

5 누구를 두려워해야 할지 너희에게 알려 주겠다. 육신을 죽인 다음 지옥에 던지는 권한을 가지신 분을 두려워하여라. 그렇다, 내가 너희에게 말한다. 바로 그분을 두려워하여라.

6 참새 다섯 마리가 두 닢에 팔리지 않느냐? 그러나 그 가운데 한 마리도 하느님께서 잊지 않으신다. 7 더구나 하느님께서는 너희의 머리카락까지 다 세어 두셨다.

두려워하지 마라. 너희는 수많은 참새보다 더 귀하다."

1 Meanwhile, so many people were crowding together that they were trampling one another underfoot. He began to speak, first to his disciples, "Beware of the leaven - that is, the hypocrisy - of the Pharisees. 2 "There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed on the housetops. 4 I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body but after that can do no more. 5 I shall show you whom to fear. Be afraid of the one who after killing has the power to cast into Gehenna;* yes, I tell you, be afraid of that one. 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two small coins?* Yet not one of them has escaped the notice of God. 7 Even the hairs of your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows.
