[성모 승천 대축일]

오늘은 성모 마리아께서 지상 생애를 마치신 다음 하늘로 불려 올라가셨다는 교의에 따라 성모님의 승천을 기리는 의무 축일이다. 성모님의 승천은 성경에 기록되어 있지는 않지만, 초대 교회 때부터 내려오는 전승에 따른 것이다. 1950년 비오 12세 교황은 성모 승천의 신비를 '믿을 교리'로 선포하였다. 성모 승천은 그리스도 안에서 산 모든 사람이 누릴 구원의 영광을 미리 보여 주는 위로와 희망의 표지다.

<본기도>

하느님, 복되신 동정 마리아의 겸손을 굽어보시고 특별한 은총을 내리시어, 그 몸에서 독생 성자를 태어나게 하시고, 오늘 찬란한 영광의 화관을 씌워 주셨으니, 그 기도를 들으시고 십자가의 신비로 저희를 구원하시어, 영광스러운 하늘 나라에 들어가게 하소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

제1독서 < 온 이스라엘은 다윗이 미리 쳐 둔 천막 안에 하느님의 궤를 옮겨 놓았다. >

▥  역대기 상권의 말씀입니다.( 15,3-4.15-16; 16,1-2 )

그 무렵 3 다윗은 자기가 마련한 곳에 주님의 궤를 모셔 오려고, 온 이스라엘을 예루살렘에 불러 모았다. 4 아론의 자손과 레위인들도 모아들였다.

15 레위의 자손들은 주님의 말씀에 따라 모세가 명령한 대로, 하느님의 궤를 채에 꿰어 어깨에 메었다. 16 다윗은 레위인 수령인들에게 일러, 그들 형제 가운데에서 성가 책임자들을 임명하게 하고, 수금과 비파와 자바라 같은 악기를 연주하여 흥겨운 소리를 드높이게 하였다.

온 이스라엘은 16,1 다윗이 미리 쳐 둔 천막 안에 하느님의 궤를 옮겨 놓았다. 그러고 나서 하느님 앞에 번제물과 친교 제물을 바쳤다. 2 다윗은 번제물과 친교 제물을 다 바친 다음에 주님의 이름으로 백성에게 축복하였다.

제2독서 < 하느님께서는 예수 그리스도를 통하여 우리에게 승리를 주십니다. >

▥  사도 바오로의 코린토 1서 말씀입니다.( 15,54-57 )

형제 여러분, 54 이 죽는 몸이 죽지 않는 것을 입으면, 그때에 성경에 기록된 말씀이 이루어질 것입니다. "승리가 죽음을 삼켜 버렸다. 55 죽음아, 너의 승리가 어디 있느냐? 죽음아, 너의 독침이 어디 있느냐?" 56 죽음의 독침은 죄이며 죄의 힘은 율법입니다. 57 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 우리에게 승리를 주시는 하느님께 감사드립시다.

 

<NAB> 1 Corinthians (15,54-57)

54 And when this which is corruptible clothes itself with incorruptibility and this which is mortal clothes itself with immortality, then the word that is written shall come about: "Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

주님의 말씀입니다.

복음 < 선생님을 배었던 모태는 행복합니다. >

♣  루카가 전한 거룩한 복음입니다.( 11,27-28 )

예수님께서 군중에게 27 말씀을 하고 계실 때에 군중 속에서 어떤 여자가 목소리를 높여, "선생님을 배었던 모태와 선생님께 젖을 먹인 가슴은 행복합니다." 하고 예수님께 말하였다.

28 그러자 예수님께서 이르셨다. "하느님의 말씀을 듣고 지키는 이들이 오히려 행복하다."

 

<NAB> Luke (11,27-28)

27 While he was speaking, a woman from the crowd called out and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed." 28 He replied, "Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it."
