주님, 이 세상을 정의와 평화로 이끌어 주시고, 교회가 자유로이 주님을 섬길 수 있게 하소서. 성부와 성령과 함께 천주로서 영원히 살아 계시며 다스리시는 성자 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 비나이다.

제1독서 < 말을 듣기 전에는 사람을 칭찬하지 마라. >

▥  집회서의 말씀입니다.( 27,4-7 )

4 체로 치면 찌꺼기가 남듯이, 사람의 허물은 그의 말에서 드러난다. 5 옹기장이의 그릇이 불가마에서 단련되듯이, 사람은 대화에서 수련된다. 6 나무의 열매가 재배 과정을 드러내듯이, 사람의 말은 마음속 생각을 드러낸다. 7 말을 듣기 전에는 사람을 칭찬하지 마라. 사람은 말로 평가되기 때문이다.

 

<NAB> Sirach (27,4-7)

4 When a sieve is shaken, the husks appear; so do a man's faults when he speaks. 5 As the test of what the potter molds is in the furnace, so in his conversation is the test of a man. 6 The fruit of a tree shows the care it has had; so too does a man's speech disclose the bent of his mind. 7 Praise no man before he speaks, for it is then that men are tested.

 

주님의 말씀입니다.
◎ 하느님, 감사합니다.

제2독서 < 하느님께서는 예수 그리스도를 통하여 우리에게 승리를 주십니다. >

▥  사도 바오로의 코린토 1서 말씀입니다.( 15,54-58 )

형제 여러분, 54 이 썩는 몸이 썩지 않는 것을 입고 이 죽는 몸이 죽지 않는 것을 입으면, 그때에 성경에 기록된 말씀이 이루어질 것입니다. "승리가 죽음을 삼켜 버렸다. 55 죽음아, 너의 승리가 어디 있느냐? 죽음아, 너의 독침이 어디 있느냐?" 56 죽음의 독침은 죄이며 죄의 힘은 율법입니다. 57 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 통하여 우리에게 승리를 주시는 하느님께 감사드립시다.

58 그러므로 사랑하는 형제 여러분, 굳게 서서 흔들리지 말고 언제나 주님의 일을 더욱 많이 하십시오. 주님 안에서 여러분의 노고가 헛되지 않음을 여러분은 알고 있습니다.

 

<NAB> 1 Corinthians (15,54-58)

54 And when this which is corruptible clothes itself with incorruptibility and this which is mortal clothes itself with immortality, then the word that is written shall come about: "Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be firm, steadfast, always fully devoted to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

복음 < 마음에서 넘치는 것을 입으로 말하는 법이다. >

♣  루카가 전한 거룩한 복음입니다.( 6,39-45 )

그때에 예수님께서는 비유를 들어 제자들에게 39 이르셨다. "눈먼 이가 눈먼 이를 인도할 수야 없지 않으냐? 둘 다 구덩이에 빠지지 않겠느냐?

40 제자는 스승보다 높지 않다. 그러나 누구든지 다 배우고 나면 스승처럼 될 것이다.

41 너는 어찌하여 형제의 눈 속에 있는 티는 보면서, 네 눈 속에 있는 들보는 깨닫지 못하느냐? 42 네 눈 속에 있는 들보는 보지 못하면서, 어떻게 형제에게 '아우야! 가만, 네 눈 속에 있는 티를 빼내 주겠다.' 하고 말할 수 있느냐? 위선자야, 먼저 네 눈에서 들보를 빼내어라. 그래야 네가 형제의 눈에 있는 티를 뚜렷이 보고 빼낼 수 있을 것이다.

43 좋은 나무는 나쁜 열매를 맺지 않는다. 또 나쁜 나무는 좋은 열매를 맺지 않는다. 44 나무는 모두 그 열매를 보면 안다. 가시나무에서 무화과를 따지 못하고 가시덤불에서 포도를 거두어들이지 못한다. 45 선한 사람은 마음의 선한 곳간에서 선한 것을 내놓고, 악한 자는 악한 곳간에서 악한 것을 내놓는다. 마음에서 넘치는 것을 입으로 말하는 법니다."

 

<NAB> Luke (6,39-45)

39 And he told them a parable, "Can a blind person guide a blind person? Will not both fall into a pit? 40 No disciple is superior to the teacher; but when fully trained, every disciple will be like his teacher. 41 Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own? 42 How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me remove that splinter in your eye,' when you do not even notice the wooden beam in your own eye? You hypocrite! Remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter in your brother's eye. 43 "A good tree does not bear rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree bear good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For people do not pick figs from thornbushes, nor do they gather grapes from brambles. 45 A good person out of the store of goodness in his heart produces good, but an evil person out of a store of evil produces evil; for from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks.
